Dr. Richard W. Douglas received his bachelor’s degree from Mercer University and His M. A. and M. Div. from Luther Rice Seminary and completed his doctorate at Luther Rice Seminary and Logos Graduate School. Richard is a licensed Christian Counselor and Therapist specializing in addiction. He is President of Good Samaritan Ministries, Inc.; a non-profit organization that helps ex-offenders and those in bondage to addiction get a fresh start. He is endorsed by the North American Mission Board as a Chaplain to Good Samaritan Ministries. Prior to being a church planter and pastor for eight years at Living Faith Church in Buford, GA, Richard served as pastor at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA. Richard also served as founder/Executive Director of Atlanta Church Partnership, a ministry that facilitated partnerships between inner city churches and suburban churches. Richard and his wife, Treba have been married since 1983. They have an young adult son, Rich.
